Hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " سَمُّوا بِاسْمِي، وَلاَ تَكْتَنُوا بِكُنْيَتِي "
Narrated Abu Huraira:Abu-l-Qasim said, "Name yourselves after me, but do not call yourselves by my Kuniya
Abu Huraira bataate hain: Abul-Qasim ne kaha, "Apne aap ko mere naam par rakho, magar apne aap ko meri Kuniya se mat pukaro."
