Book 61: Virtues and Merits of the Prophet (pbuh) and his Companions · Hadith 69
Hadith text
Narrated `Aisha:Whenever Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was given the choice of one of two matters, he would choose the easier of the two, as long as it was not sinful to do so, but if it was sinful to do so, he would not approach it. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) never took revenge (over anybody) for his own sake but (he did) only when Allah's Legal Bindings were outraged in which case he would take revenge for Allah's Sake
Ayesha bataati hain: Jab bhi Allah ke Rasool ko do maamlon mein se ek chunne ka mauka milta, woh unme se aasaan wala chunte, jab tak woh gunah na ho, magar agar woh gunah hota, woh usse door rahte. Allah ke Rasool ne kabhi apne liye badla nahi liya, magar jab Allah ke qanoonon ka ullanghan hota, tab woh Allah ki khaatir badla lete.
