Hadith text

Narrated `Aisha:The Prophet (ﷺ) in his fatal illness, called his daughter Fatima and told her a secret because of which she started weeping. Then he called her and told her another secret, and she started laughing. When I asked her about that, she replied, The Prophet (ﷺ) told me that he would die in his fatal illness, and so I wept, but then he secretly told me that from amongst his family, I would be the first to join him, and so I laughed

Ayesha bataati hain: Nabi ne apni aakhri bimari ke dauran apni beti Fatima ko bulaya aur unhe ek raaz bataya jiski wajah se woh rone lagi. Phir unhone unhe bulaya aur ek doosra raaz bataya, aur woh haansi. Jab maine unse iske baare mein pucha, unhone jawab diya, "Nabi ne mujhe bataya ke woh apni is aakhri bimari mein intiqal kar jaenge, isliye main roee, magar phir unhone raaz mein mujhe bataya ke apne pariwara mein se, main sabse pahle unse milungi, isliye main haansi."
