Hadith text

Narrated `Aisha:The Prophet (ﷺ) called his daughter Fatima during his illness in which he died, and told her a secret whereupon she wept. Then he called her again and told her a secret whereupon she laughed. When I asked her about that, she replied, "The Prophet (ﷺ) spoke to me in secret and informed me that he would die in the course of the illness during which he died, so I wept. He again spoke to me in secret and informed me that I would be the first of his family to follow him (after his death) and on that I laughed

Ayesha bataati hain: Nabi ne apni beti Fatima ko apni aakhri bimari ke dauran, jismein unka intiqal hua, bulaya aur unhe ek raaz bataya jispar woh rone lagi. Phir unhone unhe phir bulaya aur ek raaz bataya jispar woh haansi. Jab maine unse iske baare mein pucha, unhone jawab diya, "Nabi ne mujhse raaz mein baat ki aur mujhe bataya ke unka intiqal usi bimari mein hoga jismein unka intiqal hua, isliye main roee. Unhone phir mujhse raaz mein baat ki aur mujhe bataya ke apne pariwara mein se, main sabse pahle unke peeche jaaungi (unki maut ke baad), aur ispar main haansi."
