Hadith text

Narrated Yahya bin Sa`id:That he heard Anas bin Malik when he went with him to Al-Walid, saying, "Once the Prophet (ﷺ) called the Ansar in order to give them the territory of Bahrain they said, 'No, unless you give to our emigrant brethren a similar share.' On that he said 'If you do not agree to it, then be patient till you meet me, for after me others will be given preference to you

Yahya bin Sa'id bataate hain: Unhone Anas bin Malik ko, jab woh unke saath Al-Walid ke paas gaye the, yeh kehte suna: "Ek baar Nabi ne Ansaar ko bulaya taake unhe Bahrain ki zameen den. Unhone kaha, 'Nahi, jab tak aap humare Muhajir bhaiyon ko bhi utna hi hissa na den.' Isspar unhone kaha, 'Agar tum ispar raazi nahi hote, phir sabr karo jab tak tum mujhse milo, kyunke mere baad doosron ko tumse zyada tarjih di jaayegi.'"
