Hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الأَنْصَارُ كَرِشِي وَعَيْبَتِي، وَالنَّاسُ سَيَكْثُرُونَ وَيَقِلُّونَ، فَاقْبَلُوا مِنْ مُحْسِنِهِمْ، وَتَجَاوَزُوا عَنْ مُسِيئِهِمْ ".
Narrated Anas bin Malik:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The Ansar are my near companions to whom I confided my private secrets, People will go on increasing but the Ansar will go on decreasing; so accept the good of the good-doers amongst them and excuse the wrong-doers amongst them
Anas bin Malik bataate hain: Nabi ne kaha, "Ansaar mere qareebi sathi hain jinhe maine apne khaas raaz batae. Log badhte rahenge magar Ansaar kam hote jaenge; isliye unmein se neik logon ki achhaee qubool karo aur unke galat amal walon ko maaf karo."
