Hadith text
Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:Some people (i.e. the Jews of Bani Quraiza) agreed to accept the verdict of Sa`d bin Mu`adh so the Prophet (ﷺ) sent for him (i.e. Sa`d bin Mu`adh). He came riding a donkey, and when he approached the Mosque, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Get up for the best amongst you." or said, "Get up for your chief." Then the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O Sa`d! These people have agreed to accept your verdict." Sa`d said, "I judge that their warriors should be killed and their children and women should be taken as captives." The Prophet said, "You have given a judgment similar to Allah's Judgment (or the King's judgment)
Abu Saeed Al-Khudri bataate hain: Kuch log (yaani Bani Quraiza ke Yahudi) Sa'd bin Mu'adh ka faisla qubool karne ke liye raazi hue, isliye Nabi ne unke (yaani Sa'd ke) liye bheja. Woh ek gadhe par sawar hokar aaye, aur jab woh masjid ke qareeb pahunche, Nabi ne kaha, "Apne sabse behtareen shaks ke liye khade ho jaao," ya "Apne sardaar ke liye khade ho jaao." Phir Nabi ne kaha, "Aye Sa'd! In logon ne aapkaa faisla qubool karne ki sahmati di hai." Sa'd ne kaha, "Main faisla deta hoon ke unke yoddhaon ko qatl kiya jaaye aur unke bachchon aur aurton ko qaidi banaya jaaye." Nabi ne kaha, "Tumne Allah ke faisle (ya Baadshaah ke faisle) jaisa hi faisla diya hai."
