Hadith text

Narrated `Abdullah:While the Prophet (ﷺ) was prostrating, surrounded by some of Quraish, `Uqba bin Abi Mu'ait brought the intestines (i.e. Abdominal contents) of a camel and put them over the back of the Prophet. The Prophet (ﷺ) did not raise his head, (till) Fatima, came and took it off his back and cursed the one who had done the harm. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O Allah! Destroy the chiefs of Quraish, Abu Jahl bin Hisham, `Utba bin Rabi`a, Shaiba bin Rabi`a, Umaiya bin Khalaf or Ubai bin Khalaf." (The sub-narrator Shu`ba, is not sure of the last name.) I saw these people killed on the day of Badr battle and thrown in the well except Umaiya or Ubai whose body parts were mutilated but he was not thrown in the well

Abdullah bataate hain: Jabke Nabi sajda mein the, kuch Quraish ke log unke aas-paas the, Uqba bin Abi Mu'ait ek unt ki aanten (yaani pet ke andar ki cheezein) laaya aur unhe Nabi ki peeth par rakh diya. Nabi ne apna sar nahi uthaya, jab tak Fatima na aee aur use unki peeth se hataya, aur jisne bhi yeh takleef dee use bad-dua di. Nabi ne kaha, "Aye Allah! Quraish ke sardaron ko barbaad kar, Abu Jahl bin Hisham, Utba bin Rabi'a, Shaiba bin Rabi'a, Umaiya bin Khalaf ya Ubai bin Khalaf." (Doosre raawi, Shu'ba ko aakhri naam ka yaqeen nahi hai.) Maine in logon ko Badr ki jung ke din qatl hote aur kue mein phenke jate dekha siwaye Umaiya ya Ubai ke, jinke jism ke hisse alag ho gaye magar unhe kue mein nahi phenka gaya.
