Hadith text
Narrated Al-Bara:When the Prophet (ﷺ) migrated to Medina, Suraqa bin Malik bin Ju'shum pursued him. The Prophet (ﷺ) invoked evil on him, therefore the forelegs of his horse sank into the ground. Suraqa said (to the Prophet ), "Invoke Allah to rescue me, and I will not harm you. "The Prophet (ﷺ) invoked Allah for him. Then Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) felt thirsty and he passed by a shepherd. Abu Bakr said, "I took a bowl and milked a little milk in it and brought it to the Prophet (ﷺ) and he drank till I was pleased
Al-Bara bataate hain: Jab Nabi Madina hijrat ke liye nikle, Suraqa bin Malik bin Ju'shum ne unka picha kiya. Nabi ne unpar bad-dua ki, isliye unke ghode ke agle paanv zameen mein dhaanse gaye. Suraqa ne (Nabi se) kaha, "Allah se dua kariye mujhe bachane ke liye, aur main aapko nuksaan nahi pahunchaunga." Nabi ne unke liye Allah se dua ki. Phir Allah ke Rasool ko pyaas lagi aur woh ek charwahe ke paas se guzre. Abu Bakr ne kaha, "Maine ek pyaala liya aur usmein thoda doodh nikala aur Nabi ke paas laaya, aur unhone piya jab tak main santusht ho gaya."
