Hadith text
Narrated Mu`adh bin Rifa`a bin Rafi`:Rifa`a was one of the warriors of Badr while (his father) Rafi` was one of the people of Al-`Aqaba (i.e. those who gave the pledge of allegiance at Al-`Aqaba). Rafi` used to say to his son, "I would not have been happier if I had taken part in the Badr battle instead of taking part in the 'Aqaba pledge
Mu'adh bin Rifa'a bin Rafi bataate hain: Rifa'a Badr ke yoddhaon mein se ek the jabke (unke waalid) Rafi Al-Aqaba ke logon mein se ek the (yaani jinhone Al-Aqaba mein bai'at di). Rafi apne bete se kaha karte the, "Main utna khush nahi hota agar maine Badr ki jung mein hissa liya hota bajaye Al-Aqaba ki bai'at mein hissa lene ke."
