Hadith text
حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ " هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ آخِذٌ بِرَأْسِ فَرَسِهِ ـ عَلَيْهِ أَدَاةُ الْحَرْبِ ".
Narrated Ibn `Abbas:The Prophet (ﷺ) said on the day (of the battle) of Badr, "This is Gabriel holding the head of his horse and equipped with arms for the battle
Ibn Abbas bataate hain: Nabi ne Badr ki jung ke din kaha, "Yeh Jibreel hain, apne ghode ke sar ko pakde hue aur jung ke liye hathiyaron se saje hue."
