Hadith text
Narrated Ibn `Abbas:Abu Sa`id bin Malik Al-Khudri returned from a journey and his family offered him some meat of sacrifices offered at `Id ul Adha. On that he said, "I will not eat it before asking (whether it is allowed)." He went to his maternal brother, Qatada bin Nu'man, who was one of the Badr warriors, and asked him about it. Qatada said, "After your departure, an order was issued by the Prophet (ﷺ) cancelling the prohibition of eating sacrifices after three days
Ibn Abbas bataate hain: Abu Saeed bin Malik Al-Khudri ek safar se wapas aaye aur unke pariwara ne unhe Eid-ul-Adha ki qurbaniyon ka kuch gosht diya. Ispar unhone kaha, "Main ise khaane se pahle (yeh) puchunga (kya yeh jaiz hai)." Woh apne mama ke bhai, Qatada bin Nu'man, jo Badr ke yoddhaon mein se ek the, ke paas gaye aur unse iske baare mein pucha. Qatada ne kaha, "Aapke jane ke baad, Nabi ne ek hukum jaari kiya jismein teen din ke baad qurbani ka gosht khaane ki paband hataee gaee thi."
