Book 64: Military Expeditions led by the Prophet (pbuh) (Al-Maghaazi) · Hadith 114

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ السُّلَمِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ الآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْفَجْرِ يَقُولُ ‏"‏ اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْ فُلاَنًا وَفُلاَنًا وَفُلاَنًا ‏"‏‏.‏ بَعْدَ مَا يَقُولُ ‏"‏ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ ‏"‏‏.‏ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ ‏{‏لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ الأَمْرِ شَىْءٌ‏}‏ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ ‏{‏ فَإِنَّهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ‏}‏

Narrated Salim's father:That he heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), when raising his head from bowing of the first rak`a of the morning prayer, saying, "O Allah! Curse so-and-so and so-and-so" after he had said, "Allah hears him who sends his praises to Him. Our Lord, all the Praises are for you!" So Allah revealed:-- "Not for you (O Muhammad! )......(till the end of Verse) they are indeed wrong-doers

Salim ke waalid bataate hain: Unhone Allah ke Rasool ko, subah ki namaz ki pahli rakat ke ruku se apna sar uthate waqt, yeh kahte suna, "Aye Allah! Falaan-falaan par laanaat bhej," yeh kehne ke baad, "Allah use sunta hai jo uski taarif karta hai. Humare Rab! Sab taarifen tere liye hain." Ispar Allah ne naazil kiya: "Yeh maamla aapke haath mein nahi hai (Aye Muhammad!)...." (aakhri tak) "...beshak, woh zaalim hain." (3:128)
