Book 64: Military Expeditions led by the Prophet (pbuh) (Al-Maghaazi) · Hadith 161

حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ لَمَّا رَجَعَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنَ الْخَنْدَقِ وَوَضَعَ السِّلاَحَ وَاغْتَسَلَ، أَتَاهُ جِبْرِيلُ ـ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ ـ فَقَالَ قَدْ وَضَعْتَ السِّلاَحَ وَاللَّهِ مَا وَضَعْنَاهُ، فَاخْرُجْ إِلَيْهِمْ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏ "‏ فَإِلَى أَيْنَ ‏"‏‏.‏ قَالَ هَا هُنَا، وَأَشَارَ إِلَى بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ، فَخَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَيْهِمْ‏.‏

Narrated `Aisha:When the Prophet (ﷺ) returned from Al-Khandaq (i.e. Trench) and laid down his arms and took a bath, Gabriel came and said (to the Prophet (ﷺ) ), You have laid down your arms? By Allah, we angels have not laid them down yet. So set out for them." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Where to go?" Gabriel said, "Towards this side," pointing towards Banu Quraiza. So the Prophet (ﷺ) went out towards them

Ayesha bataati hain: Jab Nabi Al-Khandaq (yaani khaee) se wapas aaye aur apne hathiyaar rakh diye aur ghusal kiya, Jibreel aaye aur (Nabi se) kaha, "Aapne apne hathiyaar rakh diye? Allah ki qasam, hum farishton ne unhe abhi tak nahi rakha. Isliye unke khilaf nikliye." Nabi ne pucha, "Kahaan jaun?" Jibreel ne kaha, "Is taraf," Banu Quraiza ki taraf ishara karte huye. Isliye Nabi unke khilaf nikle.
