Hadith text
Narrated Abu Burda:Abu Musa said, "We went out in the company of the Prophet (ﷺ) for a Ghazwa and we were six persons having one camel which we rode in rotation. So, (due to excessive walking) our feet became thin and my feet became thin and my nail dropped, and we used to wrap our feet with the pieces of cloth, and for this reason, the Ghazwa was named Dhat-ur-Riqa as we wrapped our feet with rags." Abu Burda bataate hain: Abu Musa ne kaha, "Hum Nabi ke saath ek Ghazwe ke liye nikle aur hum chhah log the aur humare paas ek hi unt thi jispar hum baari-baari sawar hote the. Isliye (bahut zyada paidal chalne ki wajah se) humare paanv patle ho gaye aur mere paanv patle ho gaye aur mera naakhun gir gaya, aur hum apne paanvon ko kapde ke tukdon se lapette the, aur isi wajah se is Ghazwa ka naam Dhat-ur-Riqa (yaani chithdon wala) pada, kyunke humne apne paanvon ko chithdon se lapeta tha." Jab Abu Musa ne yeh (Hadith) riwaayat ki, unhe ise karne ka afsos hua aur unhone aisa mahsoos kiya mano unhe apni ek neik amal ko zaahir karna napasand tha.
