Sahih al-Bukhari 4205

Hadith text

Narrated Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari:When Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) fought the battle of Khaibar, or when Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went towards it, (whenever) the people, (passed over a high place overlooking a valley, they raised their voices saying, "Allahu-Akbar! Allahu-Akbar! None has the right to be worshipped except Allah." On that Allah's Apostle said (to them), "Lower your voices, for you are not calling a deaf or an absent one, but you are calling a Hearer Who is near and is with you." I was behind the riding animal of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and he heard me saying. "There Is neither might, nor power but with Allah," On that he said to me, "O `Abdullah bin Qais!" I said, "Labbaik. O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)!" He said, "Shall I tell you a sentence which is one of the treasures of Paradise" I said, "Yes, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Let my father and mother be sacrificed for your sake." He said, "It is: There is neither might nor power but with Allah

Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari bataate hain: Jab Allah ke Rasool ne Khaibar ki jung kiya, ya jab Allah ke Rasool uski taraf gaye, (jab bhi) log, ek oonchi jagah se ek waadi ko dekhkar, apni aawaazen buland karke kahte, "Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar! Allah ke siwa koee mabood nahi." Ispar Nabi ne (unse) kaha, "Apni aawaazen neechi karo, kyunke tum kisi badhir ya gair-maujood shaks ko nahi pukar rahe, balki tum ek Sunne wale ko pukar rahe ho Jo tumhare qareeb hai aur tumhare saath hai." Main Allah ke Rasool ke sawari janwar ke peeche tha aur unhone mujhe kehte suna, "Allah ke siwa koee taakat ya bala (shakti) nahi hai." Ispar unhone mujhse kaha, "Aye Abdullah bin Qais!" Maine kaha, "Labbaik. Aye Allah ke Rasool!" Unhone kaha, "Kya main tumhe ek aisa shabd bataun jo Jannat ke khazanon mein se ek hai?" Maine kaha, "Haan, Aye Allah ke Rasool! Mere maa-baap aapke liye qurbaan hon." Unhone kaha, "Woh hai: Allah ke siwa koee taakat ya bala nahi hai."
