Sahih al-Bukhari 4288

Hadith text

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:When Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) arrived in Mecca, he refused to enter the Ka`ba while there were idols in it. So he ordered that they be taken out. The pictures of the (Prophets) Abraham and Ishmael, holding arrows of divination in their hands, were carried out. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "May Allah ruin them (i.e. the infidels) for they knew very well that they (i.e. Abraham and Ishmael) never drew lots by these (divination arrows). Then the Prophet (ﷺ) entered the Ka`ba and said. "Allahu Akbar" in all its directions and came out and did not offer any prayer therein

Ibn Abbas bataate hain: Jab Allah ke Rasool Mecca pahunche, unhone Ka'ba mein daakhil hone se inkaar kiya jab tak usmein but the. Isliye unhone unhe bahar nikalne ka hukum diya. Ibrahim aur Ismail (Nabiyon) ki chitren, jinke haathon mein bhavishyavani ke teer the, bahar nikali gaee. Nabi ne kaha, "Allah unhe (yaani kaafiron ko) barbaad kare, kyunke unhe achhi tarah pata tha ke unhone (yaani Ibrahim aur Ismail ne) kabhi in (bhavishyavani ke) teer se qura nahi kiya." Phir Nabi ne Ka'ba mein pravesh kiya aur uski har dishaon mein "Allahu Akbar" kaha aur bahar aaye aur wahaan koee namaz nahi padhi.
