Sahih al-Bukhari 4335

Hadith text

Narrated `Abdullah:When the Prophet (ﷺ) distributed the war booty of Hunain, a man from the Ansar said, "He (i.e. the Prophet), did not intend to please Allah in this distribution." So I came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and informed him of that (statement) whereupon the color of his face changed and he said, "May Allah bestow His Mercy on Moses, for he was troubled with more than this, but he remained patient

Abdullah bataate hain: Jab Nabi ne Hunain ka maal-e-ghanimat baanta, Ansaar mein se ek shaks ne kaha, "Unki (yaani Nabi ki) is taqseem mein Allah ki khushi paane ka irada nahi tha." Isliye main Nabi ke paas gaya aur unhe yeh (baat) bataee, ispar unke chehre ka rang badal gaya aur unhone kaha, "Allah Musa par apni rehmat naazil kare, kyunke unhe isse zyada takleef di gaee thi, magar woh sabr karte rahe."
