Book 64: Military Expeditions led by the Prophet (pbuh) (Al-Maghaazi) · Hadith 392

حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ لاَ أَزَالُ أُحِبُّ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ بَعْدَ ثَلاَثٍ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُهَا فِيهِمْ ‏"‏ هُمْ أَشَدُّ أُمَّتِي عَلَى الدَّجَّالِ ‏"‏‏.‏ وَكَانَتْ فِيهِمْ سَبِيَّةٌ عِنْدَ عَائِشَةَ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ أَعْتِقِيهَا فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ‏"‏‏.‏ وَجَاءَتْ صَدَقَاتُهُمْ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ هَذِهِ صَدَقَاتُ قَوْمٍ، أَوْ قَوْمِي ‏"‏‏.‏

Narrated Abu Huraira:I have not ceased to like Banu Tamim ever since I heard of three qualities attributed to them by Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (He said): They, out of all my followers, will be the strongest opponent of Ad-Dajjal; `Aisha had a slave-girl from them, and the Prophet (ﷺ) told her to manumit her as she was from the descendants of (the Prophet) Ishmael; and, when their Zakat was brought, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "This is the Zakat of my people

Abu Huraira bataate hain: Main Banu Tamim se pyar karna band nahi kar sakta jab se maine Allah ke Rasool dwaara unke teen gunon ke baare mein suna. (Unhone kaha:) Mere sab pairokaron mein se, woh Ad-Dajjal ke sabse taakatvar virodhi honge; Ayesha ke paas unmein se ek launDi thi, aur Nabi ne unse kaha ke woh use azad kar den kyunke woh Ismail (Nabi) ki santanon mein se thi; aur, jab unki Zakat laee gaee, Nabi ne kaha, "Yeh meri qaum ki Zakat hai."
