Hadith text

Narrated `Aisha:We went out with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) during Hajjat-ul-Wada` and we assumed the Ihram for `Umra. Then Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to us, "Whoever has got the Hadi should assume the Ihram for Hajj and `Umra and should not finish his Ihram till he has performed both (`Umra and Hajj)." I arrived at Mecca along with him (i.e. the Prophet (ﷺ) ) while I was menstruating, so I did not perform the Tawaf around the Ka`ba or between Safa and Marwa. I informed Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) about that and he said, "Undo your braids and comb your hair, and then assume the Ihram for Hajj and leave the `Umra." I did so, and when we performed and finished the Hajj, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) sent me to at-Tan`im along with (my brother) `Abdur-Rahman bin Abu Bakr As-Siddiq, to perform the `Umra. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "This `Umra is in lieu of your missed `Umra." Those who had assumed the Ihram for `Umra, performed the Tawaf around the Ka`ba and between Safa and Marwa, and then finished their Ihram, and on their return from Mina, they performed another Tawaf (around the Ka`ba and between Safa and Marwa), but those who combined their Hajj and `Umra, performed only one Tawaf (between Safa and Marwa) (for both)

Ayesha bataati hain: Hum Allah ke Rasool ke saath Hajjat-ul-Wada ke dauran nikle aur Umrah ke liye Ihram dhaaran kiya. Phir Allah ke Rasool ne humse kaha, "Jiske paas Hadi hai use Hajj aur Umrah donon ke liye Ihram dhaaran karna chahiye aur apna Ihram tab tak khatm nahi karna chahiye jab tak woh donon (Umrah aur Hajj) poore na kar len." Main Mecca unke (yaani Nabi ke) saath pahunchi jabke main maasik dhaarav mein thi, isliye maine Ka'ba ka Tawaf ya Safa aur Marwa ke beech (Sai) nahi kiya. Maine Allah ke Rasool ko iske baare mein bataya aur unhone kaha, "Apni chotiyaan kholiye aur apne baal sanvariye, aur phir Hajj ke liye Ihram dhaaran kariye aur Umrah chhod dijiye." Maine waisa hi kiya, aur jab humne Hajj poora kar liya, Allah ke Rasool ne mujhe At-Tan'im bheja Abdur-Rahman bin Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (mere bhai) ke saath, Umrah karne ke liye. Nabi ne kaha, "Yeh Umrah aapke chhut gaye Umrah ke badle mein hai." Jinhone Umrah ke liye Ihram dhaaran kiya tha, unhone Ka'ba ka Tawaf aur Safa aur Marwa ke beech (Sai) kiya, aur phir apna Ihram khatm kiya, aur Mina se wapas aane par, unhone ek aur Tawaf kiya (Ka'ba ke gird aur Safa aur Marwa ke beech), magar jinhone apna Hajj aur Umrah ek saath kiya tha, unhone sirf ek hi Tawaf (Safa aur Marwa ke beech) kiya (donon ke liye).
