Sahih al-Bukhari 4403

Hadith text

Narrated Ibn `Umar:We were talking about Hajjat-ul-Wada`, while the Prophet (ﷺ) was amongst us. We did not know what Hajjat-ul-Wada` signified. The Prophet (ﷺ) praised Allah and then mentioned Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal and described him extensively, saying, "Allah did not send any prophet but that prophet warned his nation of Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal. Noah and the prophets following him warned (their people) of him. He will appear amongst you (O Muhammad's followers), and if it happens that some of his qualities may be hidden from you, but your Lord's State is clear to you and not hidden from you. The Prophet (ﷺ) said it thrice. Verily, your Lord is not blind in one eye, while he (i.e. Ad-Dajjal) is blind in the right eye which looks like a grape bulging out (of its cluster). No doubt,! Allah has made your blood and your properties sacred to one another like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this town of yours, in this month of yours." The Prophet (ﷺ) added: No doubt! Haven't I conveyed Allah's Message to you? " They replied, "Yes," The Prophet (ﷺ) said thrice, "O Allah! Be witness for it." The Prophet (ﷺ) added, "Woe to you!" (or said), "May Allah be merciful to you! Do not become infidels after me (i.e. my death) by cutting the necks (throats) of one another

Ibn Umar bataate hain: Hum Hajjat-ul-Wada ke baare mein baat kar rahe the, jabke Nabi humare beech maujood the. Humein nahi pata tha Hajjat-ul-Wada ka kya matlab tha. Nabi ne Allah ki taarif ki aur phir Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal ka zikar kiya aur unka vistrit varnan diya, kehte huye, "Allah ne koee bhi Nabi nahi bheja siwaye iske ke woh Nabi apni qaum ko Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal ke baare mein chetaavni dete. Nuh aur unke baad ke Nabiyon ne unke khilaf chetaavni di. Woh tumhare beech prakat hoga (Aye Muhammad ke pairokaro), aur agar aisa hota hai ke unke kuch gun tumse chhipe rah jaen, magar tumhare Rab ki sthiti tumhe saaf hai aur chhipi huee nahi hai." Nabi ne yeh teen baar kaha. "Yaqinan, tumhara Rab ek aankh se andha nahi hai, jabke woh (yaani Ad-Dajjal) apni dahini aankh se andha hai jo angoor ke ek guchhe se nikle angoor jaisi dikhti hai. Koee shak nahi! Allah ne tumhare khoon aur tumhari jaidad ko ek-doosre ke liye pavitra banaya hai jaise is din ki, is shehar mein, is mahine mein pavitrata hai." Nabi ne joda: "Koee shak nahi! Kya maine Allah ka paighaam tumtak pahuncha nahi diya?" Unhone jawab diya, "Haan," Nabi ne teen baar kaha, "Aye Allah! Iske gawah raho." Nabi ne joda, "Tumpar afsos ho!" (ya kaha), "Allah tumpar reham kare! Mere baad kaafir mat ban jana, ek-doosre ki gala (gala) kaatte hue."
