Hadith text
Narrated `Aisha:I used to hear (from the Prophet) that no Prophet dies till he is given the option to select either the worldly life or the life of the Hereafter. I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) in his fatal disease, with his voice becoming hoarse, saying, "In the company of those on whom is the grace of Allah ..( to the end of the Verse )." (4.69) Thereupon I thought that the Prophet (ﷺ) had been given the option
Aisha bataati hain: Main (Nabi SAW se) suna karti thi ke koi Nabi tab tak wafat nahi paata jab tak use duniya ki zindagi aur aakhirat ki zindagi mein se ek chunne ka ikhtiyar na diya jaaye. Maine Nabi (SAW) ko unki aakhri bimari mein, jab unki awaaz bhaari ho gayi thi, ye kehte suna, 'Un logon ke saath jinpar Allah ka inaam hua hai...' (aayat ke aakhir tak). Isse mujhe laga ke unhe (aakhirat chunne ka) ikhtiyar de diya gaya hai.
