Hadith text

Narrated `Urwa bin Az-Zubair:`Aisha said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) said during his fatal illness, "Allah cursed the Jews for they took the graves of their prophets as places for worship." `Aisha added, "Had it not been for that (statement of the Prophet ) his grave would have been made conspicuous. But he was afraid that it might be taken as a place for worship

Urwa bin Az-Zubair bataate hain: Aisha ne kaha, 'Nabi (SAW) ne apni aakhri bimari mein farmaya, "Allah ne Yahudiyon par laanat ki, kyunke unhone apne Nabiyon ki qabron ko ibaadat-gaah bana liya tha."' Aisha ne aage kaha, 'Agar ye baat na hoti to unki qabr khuli-aam (numaayan) banayi jaati, magar unhe dar tha ke kahin ise ibaadat-gaah na bana liya jaaye.'
