Narrated `Aisha:The Quraish people and those who embraced their religion, used to stay at Muzdalifa and used to call themselves Al-Hums, while the rest of the Arabs used to stay at `Arafat. When Islam came, Allah ordered His Prophet to go to `Arafat and stay at it, and then pass on from there, and that is what is meant by the Statement of Allah:--"Then depart from the place whence all the people depart
Aisha bataati hain: Quraish aur jo unke deen ko maanate the wo Muzdalifa mein thehra karte the aur khud ko 'Al-Hums' kehte the, jabke baaqi Arab Arafat mein thehrate the. Jab Islam aaya, to Allah ne apne Nabi (SAW) ko hukm diya ke wo Arafat jaayein aur wahaan thehrein, phir wahaan se (Muzdalifa ki taraf) rawaana hon, aur yahi Allah ke is farmaan ka matlab hai: 'Phir wahin se palto jahaan se sab log palte hain.'
