Sahih al-Bukhari 4554

Narrated Anas bin Malik:Out of all the Ansar, living in Medina, Abu Talha had the largest number of (date palm trees) gardens, and the most beloved of his property to him was Bairuha garden which was standing opposite the Mosque (of the Prophet). Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to enter it and drink of its good water. When the Verse was revealed:--"By no means shall you attain righteousness unless you spend (in charity) of that which you love." (3.92) Abu Talha got up and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), Allah says:--"By no means shall you attain righteousness unless you spend (in charity) of that which you love." (3.92) and the most beloved of my property to me is the Bairuha garden, so I give it (as a charitable gift) in Allah's Cause and hope to receive good out of it, and to have it stored for me with Allah. So, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Dispose it of (i.e. utilize it) in the way Allah orders you (to dispose it of)." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Bravo! That is a fruitful property! That is a fruitful property! I have heard what you have said and I think that you should distribute that (garden) amongst your relatives." Then Abu Talha distributed that garden amongst his relatives and his cousins. Narrated Yahya bin Yahya: I learnt from Malik, "..a fruitful property

Anas bin Malik bataate hain: Madina ke tamaam Ansaar mein Abu Talha ke paas sabse zyaada khajoor ke baagh the, aur unki sabse pyaari milkiyat 'Bairuha' baagh thi jo Masjid-e-Nabvi ke saamne thi. Allah ke Rasool (SAW) usme jaaya karte the aur uska achha paani piya karte the. Jab ye Aayat naazil hui, 'Tum haqeeqi neki tab tak nahi paa sakte jab tak wo cheez (Allah ki raah mein) na kharch karo jo tumhe pyaari hai' (3:92), to Abu Talha khade hue aur kaha, 'Aye Allah ke Rasool! Allah farmaata hai, "Tum haqeeqi neki tab tak nahi paa sakte jab tak wo cheez kharch na karo jo tumhe pyaari hai," aur meri sabse pyaari milkiyat Bairuha baagh hai, isliye main ise Allah ki raah mein sadqa deta hoon aur ummeed rakhta hoon ke ye mere liye Allah ke yahaan nekiyon mein jama ho. Aye Allah ke Rasool! Isse jahaan Allah ka hukm ho wahaan istemaal kar lijiye.' Allah ke Rasool (SAW) ne farmaya, 'Wah! Ye to bahut hi mufeed milkiyat hai! Ye bahut hi mufeed milkiyat hai! Maine jo tumne kaha wo sun liya, aur mera khayaal hai ke tum ise apne rishtedaaron mein baant do.' To Abu Talha ne wo baagh apne rishtedaaron aur chachazaad bhaion mein baant diya. Ravi Yahya bin Yahya kehte hain: Maine Malik se seekha ke iska matlab hai '...ek nihaayat mufeed milkiyat.'
