Narrated Aisha:The wife of the Prophet (ﷺ) : We set out with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) on one of his journeys, and when we were at Baida' or at Dhat-al-Jaish, a necklace of mine was broken (and lost). Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) stayed there to look for it, and so did the people along with him. Neither were they at a place of water, nor did they have any water with them. So the people went to Abu Bakr As-Siddiq and said, "Don't you see what `Aisha has done? She has made Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and the people, stay where there is no water and they have no water with them." Abu Bakr came while Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was sleeping with his head on my thigh. He said (to me), "You have detained Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and the people where there is no water, and they have no water with them." So he admonished me and said what Allah wished him to say, and he hit me on my flanks with his hand. Nothing prevented me from moving (because of pain) but the position of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) on my thigh. So Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) got up when dawn broke and there was no water, so Allah revealed the Verse of Tayammum. Usaid bin Hudair said, "It is not the first blessing of yours, O the family of Abu Bakr." Then we made the camel on which I was riding get up, and found the necklace under it

Aisha (Nabi ki zawja) bataati hain: Hum Allah ke Rasool (SAW) ke saath ek safar par nikle, aur jab hum Baida ya Zaat-ul-Jaish pahunche, to mera haar toot kar kho gaya. Allah ke Rasool (SAW) usse dhoondhne ke liye wahin ruk gaye, aur unke saath log bhi ruk gaye. Na wahan paani ki jagah thi, na unke paas paani tha. To log Abu Bakr As-Siddiq ke paas gaye aur kaha, 'Kya aap dekh nahi rahe Aisha ne kya kiya hai? Unhone Allah ke Rasool (SAW) aur logon ko aisi jagah ruka diya jahaan na paani hai na unke paas paani hai.' Abu Bakr aaye jabke Allah ke Rasool (SAW) mere ran par sar rakh kar so rahe the. Unhone (mujhse) kaha, 'Tumne Allah ke Rasool (SAW) aur logon ko bagair paani ki jagah roka hai.' To unhone mujhe daant-daant kar samjhaaya aur jo Allah ne chaaha wo kaha, aur apne haath se mere pehlu par maara. Mujhe hilne se sirf dard ne nahi, balke Allah ke Rasool (SAW) ke mere ran par sar hone ki wajah se roka. Phir Allah ke Rasool (SAW) subah hone par uthe aur paani nahi tha, isper Allah ne Tayammum ki Aayat naazil farmayi. Usaid bin Hudair ne kaha, 'Ye tumhari pehli barkat nahi hai, aye Abu Bakr ke ghar walo.' Phir humne us oont ko, jispar main sawaar thi, uthaaya, to haar usi ke neeche mila.
