حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ صَبَّحَ أُنَاسٌ غَدَاةَ أُحُدٍ الْخَمْرَ فَقُتِلُوا مِنْ يَوْمِهِمْ جَمِيعًا شُهَدَاءَ، وَذَلِكَ قَبْلَ تَحْرِيمِهَا.
Narrated Jabir:Some people drank alcoholic beverages in the morning (of the day) of the Uhud battle and on the same day they were killed as martyrs, and that was before wine was prohibited
Jabir bataate hain: Kuch logon ne jang-e-Uhud ke din subah sharaab pi thi, aur usi din wo shaheed ho gaye, aur ye us waqt ki baat hai jab sharaab abhi haraam nahi hui thi.
