Hadith text

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:A man from the Jews, having been slapped on his face, came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "O Muhammad! A man from your companions from the Ansar has slapped me on my face!" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Call him." When they called him, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Why did you slap him?" He said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! While I was passing by the Jews, I heard him saying, 'By Him Who selected Moses above the human beings,' I said, 'Even above Muhammad?' I became furious and slapped him on the face." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do not give me superiority over the other prophets, for on the Day of Resurrection the people will become unconscious and I will be the first to regain consciousness. Then I will see Moses holding one of the legs of the Throne. I will not know whether he has come to his senses before me or that the shock he had received at the Mountain, (during his worldly life) was sufficient for him

Abu Saeed Al-Khudri bataate hain: Ek Yahudi shaks, jise thappad maara gaya tha, Nabi (SAW) ke paas aaya aur kaha, 'Aye Muhammad! Aapke Ansaari sahaabiyon mein se ek ne mujhe thappad maara hai!' Nabi (SAW) ne farmaya, 'Use bulaao.' Jab use bulaaya gaya, Nabi (SAW) ne pucha, 'Tumne isse thappad kyun maara?' Usne kaha, 'Aye Allah ke Rasool! Main Yahudiyon ke paas se guzar raha tha, maine isse kehte suna, "Us Zaat ki qasam jisne Musa ko sab insaanon se afzal chuna," maine kaha, "Kya Muhammad se bhi zyaada?" Mujhe gussa aaya aur maine isse thappad maara.' Nabi (SAW) ne farmaya, 'Mujhe doosre Nabiyon par fazilat mat do, kyunke Qayamat ke din log behosh ho jaayenge aur sabse pehle hosh mein aane wala main hounga. Phir main Musa ko Arsh ka ek paaya thaame hue paaunga. Mujhe nahi maloom ke wo mujhse pehle hosh mein aa chuke honge, ya (Toor pahaad par) jo sadma unhe (duniya mein) laga tha wahi unke liye kaafi tha (isliye is baar unhein behosh hone se chhoot mil gayi).'
