Hadith text
Narrated Abu Huraira:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "May Allah bestow His Mercy on (Prophet) Lot. (When his nation troubled him) he wished if he could betake himself to some powerful support; and if I were to remain in prison for the period Joseph had remained, I would surely respond to the call; and we shall have more right (to be in doubt) than Abraham: When Allah said to him, "Don't you believe?' Abraham said, 'Yes, (I do believe) but to be stronger in faith;
Abu Huraira bataate hain: Allah ke Rasool (SAW) ne farmaya, 'Allah Lut (Alaihissalam) par apni rehmat naazil kare. (Jab unki qaum ne unhein takleef di) to unhone chaaha ke kaash unke paas koi mazboot sahaara hota; aur agar main utne saal jail mein rehta jitne Yusuf (Alaihissalam) rahe, to main zaroor (rihaai ke) bulaawe ka jawab deta; aur humein Ibrahim se zyaada shak karne ka haq hai: jab Allah ne unse pucha, "Kya tum Iman nahi rakhte?" Ibrahim ne kaha, "Haan (mujhe Iman hai), magar (chahta hoon ke) mera Iman aur mazboot ho jaaye."'
