حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ح وَقَالَ اللَّيْثُ حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ، قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها‏.‏ أَوَّلُ مَا بُدِئَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الرُّؤْيَا الصَّادِقَةُ جَاءَهُ الْمَلَكُ فَقَالَ ‏{‏اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ * خَلَقَ الإِنْسَانَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ * اقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الأَكْرَمُ * الَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ‏}‏

Narrated `Aisha:The commencement of (the Divine Inspirations to) Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was in the form of true dreams. The Angel came to him and said, "Read! Aisha bataati hain: Allah ke Rasool (SAW) par wahi ki shuruaat sacche khwaabon ki soorat mein hui. Farishta unke paas aaya aur kaha, 'Padho! Apne Rab ke naam se jisne (sab kuch) paida kiya, jisne insaan ko jamme hue khoon se banaaya. Padho! Aur tumhaara Rab sabse zyaada karam karne wala hai, jisne kalam ke zariye (likhna) sikhaaya.'
