Hadith text
Narrated Abu Huraira:The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Abraham did not tell lies except three. (One of them was) when Abraham passed by a tyrant and (his wife) Sara was accompanying him (Abu Huraira then mentioned the whole narration and said:) (The tyrant) gave her Hajar. Sara said, "Allah saved me from the hands of the Kafir (i.e. infidel) and gave me Hajar to serve me." (Abu Huraira added:) That (Hajar) is your mother, O Banu Ma'-As-Sama' (i.e., the Arabs)
Abu Huraira bataate hain: Nabi (SAW) ne farmaya, 'Ibrahim (Alaihissalam) ne teen baar ke siwa kabhi jhoot nahi bola. (Unmein se ek tha) jab Ibrahim ek zaalim baadshaah ke paas se guzre aur (unki biwi) Sarah unke saath thi...' (Abu Huraira ne phir poori riwayat bayaan ki aur kaha:) '(Us zaalim ne) unhein Hajar di. Sarah ne kaha, "Allah ne mujhe us kaafir se bacha liya aur mujhe Hajar di taake wo meri khidmat kare."' (Abu Huraira ne aage kaha:) Wahi (Hajar) tumhaari maa hain, Aye Banu Ma-as-Samaa (yaani Arabo)!
