Sahih al-Bukhari 5300

Hadith text

Narrated Anas bin Malik:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Shall I tell you of the best families among the Ansar?" They (the people) said, "Yes, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)!" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The best are Banu- An-Najjar, and after them are Banu `Abdil Ash-hal, and after them are Banu Al-Harith bin Al-Khazraj, and after them are Banu Sa`ida." The Prophet (ﷺ) then moved his hand by closing his fingers and then opening them like one throwing something, and then said, "Anyhow, there is good in all the families of the Ansar

Anas bin Malik bataate hain: Allah ke Rasool (SAW) ne farmaya, 'Kya main tumhein Ansaar ke behtareen khaandaanon ke baare mein bataun?' Logon ne kaha, 'Haan, Aye Allah ke Rasool!' Nabi (SAW) ne farmaya, 'Sabse behtareen Banu An-Najjar hain, unke baad Banu Abdil Ash-hal, unke baad Banu Al-Harith bin Al-Khazraj, aur unke baad Banu Sa'ida.' Phir Nabi (SAW) ne apna haath ungliyaan band karke aur kholte hue hilaaya, jaise koi cheez phenk raha ho, aur farmaya, 'Bahar-haal, Ansaar ke sab khaandaanon mein bhalaai hai.'
