Sahih al-Bukhari 5333

Hadith text

Narrated Yunus Ibn Jubair:Ibn `Umar divorced his wife while she was having her menses. `Umar asked the Prophet (ﷺ) who said, "Order him (your son) to take her back, and then divorced her before her period of the 'Iddah has elapsed." I asked Ibn `Umar, "Will that divorce (during the menses) be counted?" He replied, "If somebody behaves foolishly (will his foolishness be an excuse for his misbehavior)?

Yunus Ibn Jubair bataate hain: Ibn Umar ne apni biwi ko haiz ki haalat mein talaaq de di. Umar ne Nabi (SAW) se pucha, unhone farmaya, 'Use (apne bete ko) hukm do ke wo use wapas laaye, phir uski Iddat khatam hone se pehle use talaaq de.' Maine Ibn Umar se pucha, 'Kya wo talaaq (haiz ke dauraan) gini jaayegi?' Unhone jawab diya, 'Agar koi bewaqoofi kare (to kya uski bewaqoofi uski galti ka bahaana banegi)?'
