Hadith text
Narrated Suwaid bin An-Nu`man:We went out with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) to Khaibar, and when we were at As-Sahba', (Yahya, a sub-narrator said, "As-Sahba' is a place at a distance of one day's journey to Khaibar)." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) asked the people to bring their food, but there was nothing with the people except Sawiq. So we all chewed and ate of it. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) asked for some water and he rinsed his mouth, and we too, rinsed our mouths. Then he led us in the Maghrib prayer without performing ablution (again)
Suwaid bin An-Nu'man bataate hain: Hum Allah ke Rasool (SAW) ke saath Khaibar ke liye nikle, aur jab hum As-Sahba mein the (Ravi Yahya kehte hain: As-Sahba Khaibar se ek din ke safar ki doori par ek jagah hai), Allah ke Rasool (SAW) ne logon se apna khaana laane ko kaha, magar logon ke paas Sawiq (jau ke aate) ke siwa kuch nahi tha. To hum sab ne use chabaaya aur khaaya. Phir Nabi (SAW) ne paani mangwaaya aur kulli ki, aur humne bhi kulli ki. Phir unhone humein bagair (dobara) wuzu kiye Maghrib ki namaz padhaayi.
