Hadith text

Narrated `Aisha:The Prophet (ﷺ) did not do that (i.e., forbade the storage of the meat of sacrifices for three days) except (he did so) so that the rich would feed the poor. But later we used to keep even trotters to cook, fifteen days later. The family of Muhammad did not eat wheat bread with meat or soup to their satisfaction for three successive days

Aisha bataati hain: Nabi (SAW) ne aisa (qurbaani ka gosht teen din se zyaada rakhne se mana) sirf isliye kiya taake ameer gareebon ko khilaayein. Magar baad mein hum bakri ka pair bhi pandrah din baad pakaane ke liye rakh lete the. Muhammad (SAW) ka khaandaan teen din lagataar gehun ki roti gosht ya shorba ke saath pet bhar kar kabhi nahi kha paaya.
