Hadith text

Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah:The Prophet (ﷺ) and one of his companions entered upon an Ansari man. The Prophet (ﷺ) and his companion greeted (the man) and he replied, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Let my father and mother be sacrificed for you! It is hot," while he was watering his garden. The Prophet (ﷺ) asked him, "If you have water kept overnight in a water skin, (give us), or else we will drink by putting our mouths in the basin." The man was watering the garden The man said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! I have water kept overnight in a water-skin. He went to the shade and poured some water into a bowl and milked some milk from a domestic goat in it. The Prophet (ﷺ) drank and then gave the bowl to the man who had come along with him to drink

Jabir bin Abdullah bataate hain: Nabi (SAW) aur unke ek sahaabi ek Ansaari aadmi ke paas gaye. Nabi (SAW) aur unke saathi ne (us aadmi ko) salaam kiya aur usne jawab diya, 'Aye Allah ke Rasool! Mere maa-baap aap par qurbaan hon! Bahut garmi hai,' jabke wo apna baagh sinch raha tha. Nabi (SAW) ne usse pucha, 'Agar tumhaare paas paani ki mashk mein raat ka rakha paani hai, (to humein do), warna hum katore mein munh dalkar piyenge.' Wo aadmi baagh sinch raha tha. Usne kaha, 'Aye Allah ke Rasool! Mere paas ek mashk mein raat ka rakha paani hai.' Wo chhaaon mein gaya aur ek katore mein kuch paani daala aur usmein apni palai hui bakri ka doodh nikaala. Nabi (SAW) ne piya, phir katora us aadmi ko diya jo unke saath aaya tha peene ke liye.
