Hadith text

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "My brother has some Abdominal trouble." The Prophet (ﷺ) said to him "Let him drink honey." The man came for the second time and the Prophet (ﷺ) said to him, 'Let him drink honey." He came for the third time and the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Let him drink honey." He returned again and said, "I have done that ' The Prophet (ﷺ) then said, "Allah has said the truth, but your brother's `Abdomen has told a lie. Let him drink honey." So he made him drink honey and he was cured

Abu Saeed Al-Khudri bataate hain: Ek shaks Nabi (SAW) ke paas aaya aur kaha, 'Mere bhai ke pet mein takleef hai.' Nabi (SAW) ne unse kaha, 'Use shehad pilaao.' Wo aadmi doosri baar aaya aur Nabi (SAW) ne unse kaha, 'Use shehad pilaao.' Wo teesri baar aaya aur Nabi (SAW) ne kaha, 'Use shehad pilaao.' Wo phir wapas aaya aur kaha, 'Maine wo kar liya hai.' Nabi (SAW) ne phir farmaya, 'Allah ne sach kaha, magar tumhaare bhai ke pet ne jhoot bola hai. Use shehad pilaao.' To unhone use shehad pilaaya aur wo theek ho gaya.
