حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ إِنَّ أَخِي اسْتَطْلَقَ بَطْنُهُ. فَقَالَ " اسْقِهِ عَسَلاً ". فَسَقَاهُ. فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَقَيْتُهُ فَلَمْ يَزِدْهُ إِلاَّ اسْتِطْلاَقًا. فَقَالَ " صَدَقَ اللَّهُ وَكَذَبَ بَطْنُ أَخِيكَ ". تَابَعَهُ النَّضْرُ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ.
Narrated Abu Sa`id:A man came to the prophet and said, 'My brother has got loose motions. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, Let him drink honey." The man again (came) and said, 'I made him drink (honey) but that made him worse.' The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'Allah has said the Truth, and the `Abdomen of your brother has told a lie." (See Hadith No)
Abu Saeed bataate hain: Ek shaks Nabi (SAW) ke paas aaya aur kaha, 'Mere bhai ko dast lag rahe hain.' Nabi (SAW) ne kaha, 'Use shehad pilaao.' Wo shaks phir aaya aur kaha, 'Maine use shehad pilaaya magar isse haalat aur bigad gayi.' Nabi (SAW) ne kaha, 'Allah ne sach kaha, aur tumhaare bhai ke pet ne jhoot bola.'
