Hadith text
Narrated Abu Tha`laba Al-Khushani:The Prophet (ﷺ) forbade the eating of wild animals having fangs. (Az-Zuhri said: I did not hear this narration except when I went to Sham.) Al-Laith said: Narrated Yunus: I asked Ibn Shihab, "May we perform the ablution with the milk of she-asses or drink it, or drink the bile of wild animals or urine of camels?" He replied, "The Muslims used to treat themselves with that and did not see any harm in it. As for the milk of she-asses, we have learnt that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade the eating of their meat, but we have not received any information whether drinking of their milk is allowed or forbidden." As for the bile of wild animals, Ibn Shihab said, "Abu Idris Al-Khaulani told me that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade the eating of the flesh of every wild beast having fangs
Abu Thalaba Al-Khushani bataate hain: Nabi (SAW) ne naukeele daant waale jangli jaanwaron ka gosht khaane se mana kiya. (Az-Zuhri ne kaha: Maine ye riwayat sirf tab suni jab main Sham gaya.) Ravi Al-Laith bataate hain: Yunus ne bataya: Maine Ibn Shihab se pucha, 'Kya hum gadhi ke doodh se wuzu kar sakte hain ya use pee sakte hain, ya jangli jaanwaron ki pitt (bile) ya oonton ke peshaab pee sakte hain?' Unhone jawab diya, 'Musalmaan inse apna ilaaj kiya karte the aur ismein koi harj nahi samajhte the. Jahaan tak gadhi ke doodh ki baat hai, humein pata chala hai ke Allah ke Rasool (SAW) ne unka gosht khaane se mana kiya tha, magar humein koi khabar nahi mili ke unka doodh peena jaayez hai ya haraam.' Jangli jaanwaron ki pitt ke baare mein, Ibn Shihab ne kaha, 'Abu Idris Al-Khaulani ne mujhe bataya ke Allah ke Rasool (SAW) ne naukeele daant waale har jangli jaanwar ka gosht khaane se mana kiya.'
