Hadith text
Narrated Thabit bin Ad-Dahhak:(who was one of the companions who gave the pledge of allegiance to the Prophet (ﷺ) underneath the tree (Al-Hudaibiya)) Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever swears by a religion other than Islam (i.e. if somebody swears by saying that he is a non-Muslim e.g., a Jew or a Christian, etc.) in case he is telling a lie, he is really so if his oath is false, and a person is not bound to fulfill a vow about a thing which he does not possess. And if somebody commits suicide with anything in this world, he will be tortured with that very thing on the Day of Resurrection; And if somebody curses a believer, then his sin will be as if he murdered him; And whoever accuses a believer of Kufr (disbelief), then it is as if he killed him
Thabit bin Ad-Dahhak bataate hain (jo Hudaibiya ke daraKht ke neeche Nabi (SAW) se baiyat karne wale sahaaba mein se the): Allah ke Rasool (SAW) ne farmaya, 'Jo koi Islam ke ilaawa kisi aur deen ki qasam khaaye (yaani agar koi kahe ke wo Yahudi ya Isaai hai waghera), agar wo jhoot bol raha hai, to wo waaqai wahi hai agar uski qasam jhoothi hai, aur koi is baat ka paaband nahi hai ke wo aisi kisi cheez ki nazar (mannat) poori kare jo uske paas nahi hai. Aur agar koi is duniya mein kisi cheez se khud ko qatl karta hai, to use Qayamat ke din usi cheez se azaab diya jaayega; aur agar koi kisi Momin par laanat bhejta hai, to uska gunaah aisa hoga jaise usne use qatl kiya ho; aur jo koi kisi Momin par Kufr ka ilzaam lagaaye, to ye aisa hai jaise usne use qatl kar diya.'
