Hadith text

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:The Prophet (ﷺ) passed by a man who was admonishing his brother regarding Haya' (pious shyness from committing religeous indiscretions) and was saying, "You are very shy, and I am afraid that might harm you." On that, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Leave him, for Haya' is (a part) of Faith

Abdullah bin Umar bataate hain: Nabi (SAW) ek shaks ke paas se guzre jo apne bhai ko Haya (sharm) ke baare mein naseehat de rahe the aur kaha rahe the, 'Tum bahut sharmeele ho, aur mujhe dar hai ke ye tumhein nuqsaan pahunchaa sakti hai.' Isper Allah ke Rasool (SAW) ne kaha, 'Use chhod do, kyunke Haya Iman ka (ek hissa) hai.'
