Hadith text

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:While the Prophet (ﷺ) was distributing (war booty etc.) one day, Dhul Khawaisira, a man from the tribe of Bani Tamim, said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Act justly." The Prophets said, "Woe to you! Who else would act justly if I did not act justly?" `Umar said (to the Prophet (ﷺ) ), "Allow me to chop his neck off." The Prophet said, "No, for he has companions (who are apparently so pious that) if anyone of (you compares his prayer with) their prayer, he will consider his prayer inferior to theirs, and similarly his fasting inferior to theirs, but they will desert Islam (go out of religion) as an arrow goes through the victim's body (games etc.) in which case if its Nasl is examined nothing will be seen thereon, and if its Nady is examined, nothing will be seen thereon, and if its Qudhadh is examined, nothing will be seen thereon, for the arrow has gone out too fast even for the excretions and blood to smear over it. Such people will come out at the time of difference among the (Muslim) people and the sign by which they will be recognized, will be a man whose one of the two hands will look like the breast of a woman or a lump of flesh moving loosely." Abu Sa`id added, "I testify that I heard that from the Prophet (ﷺ) and also testify that I was with `Ali when `Ali fought against those people. The man described by the Prophet was searched for among the killed, and was found, and he was exactly as the Prophet (ﷺ) had described him." (See Hadith No. 807, Vol)

Abu Saeed Al-Khudri bataate hain: Jab Nabi (SAW) ek din (maal-e-ganimat) baant rahe the, Dhul Khawaisira, Banu Tamim qabeele ka ek shaks, ne kaha, 'Aye Allah ke Rasool! Insaaf se kaam lijiye.' Nabi (SAW) ne kaha, 'Afsos hai tumpar! Agar main insaaf nahi karunga, to aur kaun karega?' Umar ne (Nabi se) kaha, 'Mujhe ijaazat dijiye ke main iski gardan kaat doon.' Nabi (SAW) ne kaha, 'Nahi, kyunke uske saathi hain (jo itne parhezgaar hain ke) agar tum mein se koi apni namaz unki namaz se, ya apna roza unke roze se, tulna kare, to use apni namaz aur roza unke saamne kam samjhega, magar wo Islam se aise nikal jaayenge jaise ek teer shikaar ke jism se guzar jaata hai, jismein agar uska Nasl (agla hissa) dekha jaaye, kuch nazar nahi aayega, aur agar uska Nady (beech ka hissa) dekha jaaye, kuch nazar nahi aayega, aur agar uska Qudhadh (peechhe ka hissa) dekha jaaye, kuch nazar nahi aayega, kyunke teer itni tezi se nikal gaya ke usme khoon ya gandagi lagne ka waqt hi nahi mila. Aise log Musalmaanon ke beech ikhtelaaf ke waqt zaahir honge, aur unki pehchaan ka nishaan ek aisa aadmi hoga jiske do haathon mein se ek aurat ke seene jaisa ya gosht ka ek dhila lotakta tukda jaisa hoga.' Abu Saeed ne aage kaha, 'Main gawaahi deta hoon ke maine ye Nabi (SAW) se suna, aur ye bhi gawaahi deta hoon ke main Ali ke saath tha jab Ali ne un logon ke khilaaf jang ki. Nabi (SAW) ne jis aadmi ka zikr kiya tha, use maare gaye logon mein dhoondha gaya, aur wo mil gaya, aur wo bilkul waisa hi tha jaisa Nabi (SAW) ne bataya tha.'
