Hadith text
وَقَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " يُسَلِّمُ الصَّغِيرُ عَلَى الْكَبِيرِ، وَالْمَارُّ عَلَى الْقَاعِدِ، وَالْقَلِيلُ عَلَى الْكَثِيرِ ".
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The younger person should greet the older one, and the walking person should greet the sitting one, and the small number of persons should greet the large number of persons
Abu Huraira bataate hain: Allah ke Rasool (SAW) ne farmaya, 'Jawaan ko boodhon ko salaam karna chaahiye, aur chalne wale ko baithe hue ko salaam karna chaahiye, aur logon ke chhote giroh ko bade giroh ko salaam karna chaahiye.'
