Sahih al-Bukhari 6262

Hadith text

Narrated Abu Sa`id:The people of (the tribe of) Quraiza agreed upon to accept the verdict of Sa`d. The Prophet (ﷺ) sent for him (Sa`d) and he came. The Prophet (ﷺ) said (to those people), "Get up for your chief or the best among you!" Sa`d sat beside the Prophet (ﷺ) and the Prophet (ﷺ) said (to him), "These people have agreed to accept your verdict." Sa`d said, "So I give my judgment that their warriors should be killed and their women and children should be taken as captives." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You have judged according to the King's (Allah's) judgment." (See Hadith No. 447, Vol)

Abu Saeed bataate hain: Quraiza qabeele ke log Sa'd ke faisle ko maanne par raazi ho gaye. Nabi (SAW) ne unhein (Sa'd ko) bulwaaya aur wo aaye. Nabi (SAW) ne (un logon se) kaha, 'Apne sardaar ya apne sabse behtar shaks ke liye khade ho jao!' Sa'd Nabi (SAW) ke paas baithe, aur Nabi (SAW) ne (unse) kaha, 'In logon ne tumhaare faisle ko maanne par raazi hain.' Sa'd ne kaha, 'To main faisla deta hoon ke unke jaanbaazon ko qatl kar diya jaaye aur unki auraton aur bachon ko qaidi banaaya jaaye.' Nabi (SAW) ne kaha, 'Tumne Baadshah (Allah) ke faisle ke mutaabik faisla diya hai.' (Poori tafseel ke liye Hadees No. 447, Jild 5 dekhein.)
