Hadith text

Narrated `Aisha:The Prophet (ﷺ) used to say, "O Allah! I seek refuge with You from laziness and geriatric old age, from all kinds of sins and from being in debt; from the trial and affliction of the grave and from the punishment in the grave; from the affliction of the Fire and from the punishment of the Fire; and from the evil of the affliction of wealth; and I seek refuge with You from the affliction of poverty, and I seek refuge with You from the affliction of Al-Mesiah Ad-Dajjal. O Allah! Wash away my sins with the water of snow and hail, and cleanse my heart from all the sins as a white garment is cleansed from the filth, and let there be a long distance between me and my sins, as You made East and West far from each other

Aisha bataati hain: Nabi (SAW) kaha karte the, 'Aye Allah! Main tujhse susti aur buddhape ki nikammi umar se panaah maangta hoon, har qism ke gunaahon se aur qarzdaar hone se; qabar ki azmaaish aur qabar ke azaab se; Aag ki azmaaish aur Aag ke azaab se; aur daulat ki azmaaish ki buraai se; aur main tujhse gareebi ki azmaaish se panaah maangta hoon, aur main tujhse Maseeh Ad-Dajjal ki azmaaish se panaah maangta hoon. Aye Allah! Mere gunaahon ko barf aur olon ke paani se dho de, aur mere dil ko sab gunaahon se aise saaf kar jaise ek safed kapda gandagi se saaf kiya jaata hai, aur mere aur mere gunaahon ke beech itni door karde jitni tune Poorab aur Paschim ko ek doosre se door kiya hai.'
