حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا الأَنْصَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبِيدَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ، فَقَالَ " مَلأَ اللَّهُ قُبُورَهُمْ وَبُيُوتَهُمْ نَارًا، كَمَا شَغَلُونَا عَنْ صَلاَةِ الْوُسْطَى حَتَّى غَابَتِ الشَّمْسُ ". وَهْىَ صَلاَةُ الْعَصْرِ.
Narrated `Ali bin Abi Talib:We were in the company of the Prophet (ﷺ) on the day (of the battle) of Al-Khandaq (the Trench). The Prophet said, "May Allah fill their (the infidels') graves and houses with fire, as they have kept us so busy that we could not offer the middle prayer till the sun had set; and that prayer was the `Asr prayer
Ali bin Abi Talib bataate hain: Hum jang-e-Khandaq (khaai) ke din Nabi (SAW) ke saath the. Nabi (SAW) ne farmaya, 'Allah unki (kaafiron ki) qabron aur gharon ko aag se bhar de, jaisa unhone humein itna masroof rakha ke hum darmiyaani namaz suraj doobne tak nahi padh sake; aur wo namaz Asr thi.'
