Hadith text
Narrated `Abdullah:While we were in the company of the Prophet (ﷺ) in a tent he said, ''Would it please you to be one fourth of the people of Paradise?" We said, "Yes." He said, "Would It please you to be one-third of the people of Paradise?" We said, "Yes." He said, "Would it please you to be half of the people of Paradise?" We said, "Yes." Thereupon he said, "I hope that you will be one half of the people of Paradise, for none will enter Paradise but a Muslim soul, and you people, in comparison to the people who associate others in worship with Allah, are like a white hair on the skin of a black ox, or a black hair on the skin of a red ox
Abdullah bataate hain: Jab hum Nabi (SAW) ki sohbat mein ek khaime mein the, unhone kaha, 'Kya tumhein khushi hogi agar tum Jannat waalon ka ek-chauthai hisso?' Humne kaha, 'Haan.' Unhone kaha, 'Kya tumhein khushi hogi agar tum Jannat waalon ka ek-tihaai hisso?' Humne kaha, 'Haan.' Unhone kaha, 'Kya tumhein khushi hogi agar tum Jannat waalon ka aadha hisso?' Humne kaha, 'Haan.' Isper unhone kaha, 'Mujhe ummeed hai tum Jannat waalon ka aadha hissa hoge, kyunke Jannat mein koi bhi Musalmaan jaan ke siwa daakhil nahi hoga, aur tum log, un logon ke muqaable mein jo Allah ke saath doosron ko shareek karte hain (mushrik), aise ho jaise kaale bail ki khaal par ek safed baal, ya laal bail ki khaal par ek kaala baal.'
