Book 81: To make the Heart Tender (Ar-Riqaq) · Hadith 128

حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ، حَدَّثَنِي الأَعْمَشُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي خَيْثَمَةُ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ، قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلاَّ وَسَيُكَلِّمُهُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، لَيْسَ بَيْنَ اللَّهِ وَبَيْنَهُ تُرْجُمَانٌ، ثُمَّ يَنْظُرُ فَلاَ يَرَى شَيْئًا قُدَّامَهُ، ثُمَّ يَنْظُرُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَتَسْتَقْبِلُهُ النَّارُ، فَمَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَتَّقِيَ النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ ‏"‏‏.‏

Narrated `Adi bin Hatim:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "There will be none among you but will be talked to by Allah on the Day of Resurrection, without there being an interpreter between him and Him (Allah) . He will look and see nothing ahead of him, and then he will look (again for the second time) in front of him, and the (Hell) Fire will confront him. So, whoever among you can save himself from the Fire, should do so even with one half of a date (to give in charity)

Adi bin Hatim bataate hain: Nabi (SAW) ne farmaya, 'Tum mein se koi bhi aisa nahi hoga jisse Allah Qayamat ke din baat nahi karega, bina kisi tarjumaan (dubhaashiye) ke uske aur Allah ke beech. Wo dekhega aur apne aage kuch nahi paayega, phir wo (dobara) apne saamne dekhega, aur (Jahannam ki) Aag uske saamne aa jaayegi. Isliye tum mein se jo bhi khud ko Aag se bacha sake, use aisa karna chaahiye, chaahe wo ek khajoor ke aadhe tukde (ka sadqa) hi de kar ho.'
