Sahih al-Bukhari 6585

Hadith text

Abu Huraira narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:"On the Day of Resurrection a group of companions will come to me, but will be driven away from the Lake-Fount, and I will say, 'O Lord (those are) my companions!' It will be said, 'You have no knowledge as to what they innovated after you left; they turned apostate as renegades (reverted from Islam)

Abu Huraira ne bataaya ke Nabi (SAW) ne farmaya, 'Qayamat ke din mere sahaabon ka ek giroh mere paas aayega, magar unhein Hauz se dhakel diya jaayega, aur main kahoonga, "Aye Rab! (Wo) mere saathi hain!" Kaha jaayega, "Tumhein nahi pata unhone tumhaare jaane ke baad kya naye kaam shuru kiye; wo murtad (Islam se peechhe hatne wale) ban gaye (Islam se peechhe hat gaye)."'
