Hadith text

Narrated Abu Musa:While we were with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) in a holy battle, we never went up a hill or reached its peak or went down a valley but raised our voices with Takbir. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came close to us and said, "O people! Don't exert yourselves, for you do not call a deaf or an absent one, but you call the All- Listener, the All-Seer." The Prophet (ﷺ) then said, "O `Abdullah bin Qais! Shall I teach you a sentence which is from the treasures of Paradise? ( It is): 'La haula wala quwata illa billah. (There is neither might nor power except with Allah)

Abu Musa bataate hain: Jab hum Allah ke Rasool (SAW) ke saath ek jehaad mein the, hum jab bhi kisi pahaad par chadhte ya uski chotii tak pahunchte ya kisi wadi mein utarte, hum oonchi aawaaz mein Takbeer kehte. Allah ke Rasool (SAW) hamare qareeb aaye aur kaha, 'Aye logo! Apne aap par jyaada zor mat daalo, kyunke tum kisi bahre ya gair-haazir ko nahi pukaar rahe, balke tum us Zaat ko pukaar rahe ho jo sab kuch sunta hai, sab kuch dekhta hai.' Nabi (SAW) ne phir kaha, 'Aye Abdullah bin Qais! Kya main tumhein ek jumla sikhaun jo Jannat ke khazaanon mein se hai? (Wo hai): "La Haula Wala Quwwata Illa Billah" (na koi taaqat hai na koi qudrat siwaaye Allah ke).'
